Third beer of Christmas

For the third beer of Christmas my true love gave to me festive beer from anarchy

Last night I got to try anarchys Christmas chaos a rum and raisin porter on cask,  also available in bottles.

The pint looked great and had a small of opening a box of rum truffles the taste starts off with that of a balanced porter and ends with a sweet sticky after taste of the rum.

Unfortunately the rum and raisin just tasted like a syrupy flavouring and was way to sweet for the Base beer perhaps aging some of the bottles may improve this a lot and balance it out a bit.

It was a good idea but unfortunately for me just missed the mark however a friend I was with dud enjoy his pint.

If you wish to try this beer it’s currently on cask at the old george and anarchy are holding a Xmas bash headlined by the reet hot chilli peppers the week before Christmas
